What is the BioMat?
Untitled-1
The BioMat is a revolutionary  FDA – registered medical device that is beginning to make it's appearance in spas and professional practitioner's offices all over the world. Physical therapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists are realizing the benefits for their clients. In fact, Boeing and Microsoft have placed them in their buildings for employees to use!

Benefits of the BioMat
The BioMat can be used to achieve the benefits of a sauna, allowing more customized temperature regulation without the hazards of heating the head or the negative EMF exposure in traditional saunas or heating devices. The Amethyst Crystals produce the highest frequency of vibrational energy that the body can absorb, thereby promoting increased conduction and absorption of FIR and Negative Ions.

How it works

The BioMat converts electricity through a computerized control panel (produced by Texas Instruments) into Far Infrared Rays (FIR), nature's invisible light.  FIR was discovered by NASA to be the safest, most beneficial light wave.  This light wave reduces swelling, increases blood flow and has been shown to destroy cancer and viral cells without harming surrounding healthy cells.  It penetrates 6-8 inches into the innermost recesses of the body, stimulating healing and regeneration of nerves and muscle tissue layers.

The BioMat also produces Negative Ions, nature's energizer, which deliver a molecular level massage.  This accelerates and deepens all healing and cleansing processes. It balances pH by decreasing acidity and is considered the "Master Power Switch" which activates the body's entire cellular communication system, making each body function work better!  Negative Ions alleviate allergies, migraines and sinus problems.

These two components are transferred through Amethyst Quartz channels which cover the entire BioMat's surface.  Amethyst Quartz is nature's Super Conductor, scientifically found to offer the steadiest, most powerful delivery of healthy far infrared light waves and the highest vibrational frequencies into the body.  It is known to be a powerful detoxifier, assisting in releasing its user from addictions such as alcohol, food and substance abuse, as well as hangovers and toxic residues.

So start today, by being proactive about your health and well-being. A mere 25 minute nap on the Bio-Mat, can go a long way to ensuring that the years ahead of you will be healthier, enabling you to be more active and enjoy life's journey to its fullest!

What is Thai Yoga Massage?
Thai Yoga Massage, an ancient, sacred bodywork, is a rich synthesis of three ancient health traditions dating back more than 2500 years that combines Ayurveda (classical Indian medical theory) and the postural dynamics of Hatha Yoga along with the Eastern healing practice of acupressure into a very relaxing, therapeutic and graceful system of massage that incorporates rhythmic motion, energy line work, gentle stretching and assisted yoga postures in a comprehensive healing modality.  Thai Yoga Massage is the embodiment of the altruistic Buddhist principal of Metta  (loving kindness) in practice.

Benefits of Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage can be applied as a full-body treatment or as a specific therapy to treat a broad range of physical discomforts and stress-related disorders. Every massage is tailored to your needs and is effective in treating headaches, menstrual irregularities, back and hip pain, shoulder and neck tension, joint and soft tissue injury, digestive upsets, insomnia and anxiety. Other benefits include: release of tension and stress in both body and mind; improved blood and lymph flow; increased energy flow; balance and flexibility; enhanced immune function and an overall sense of well-being!

(All Thai Yoga Massages are performed on the BioMat)

Testimonials
I suffer from chronic pain issues for which I have pursued a number of different treatment modalities, including regular massage. I used to prefer Swedish massage because i felt that my body required that sort of deep tissue work, but since discovering Trixie's Thai Yoga massage, I've changed my mind about that. Trixie's massage has been the first thing in a long time that has created a noticeable improvement in my pain. I feel it may be the only sort of bodily treatment I have ever received that truly takes care of everything that hurts. ~ S. Steinberg

Trixie has a calm strength about her.  She is able to manipulate my six foot tall body into the most complicated positions with ease and grace and understands how far to push.  Trixie is very connected to how the body works and to the client, which makes for a beautiful treatment, leaving me feeling calm and alive, and a little taller.  ~ G. Laux- Feltham

Thai Yoga Massage is a terrific way to release tension and find ease of mind.  An experienced practitioner with healing intuition is essential and that practitioner is Trixie. ~ W. Richards
