Learn how to release "stuck stress" that gets trapped in your
connective tissues causing cellularmelt method roller damage and resulting in aches, stiffness, insomnia, digestive problems and injuries.

The M.E.L.T. Method® (Miofascial Energetic Length Technique) is a scientific, pro-active self-treatment technique that helps prevent pain, heal injury and erase the negative effects of aging and active living. MELT simulates the hands-on techniques to eliminate stress, pain and dysfunction.

Through specialized usage of three specialized small balls and soft foam rollers, the connective tissue becomes hydrated and lengthened leaving you feeling taller and and making movement easier.

Participants should bring their own yoga mat if they own one but all other materials used for the MELT Method will be supplied.
What clients are saying:
"Glo helps me manage my scoliosis with her exercises in ways that my Yoga practice cannot. The specialized roller really helps the tissue along my spine stretch and weave back into place. I am so grateful to Glo's teaching because as a teacher myself, I love to be guided and her insightful and joyful instructions helps me relax even more."
Celeste Shirley, Owner of The Yoga House
"The Melt balls are my favourite balls for footwork hands (feet?) down! Regular use can open the feet to more mobility and it feels wonderful. The Melt roller is also the only foam roller I will use now. It really is the best roller for body work of all kinds." ~ Carol Robbins,Pilates and Healthy Foot Practitioner
"Gloria is an excellent teacher. Melt method releases deep tension in muscles. I slept incredibly well after these classes." ~ Eleanor
"I've had forearm pain as well as tennis elbow and golfers elbow from a combination of sports and repetitive strain work injuries for a long time and finally they are healing after having started MELT classes.  I look forward to continueing this program." ~ D.W.

Developed to shed stress, this special Restorative Yoga workshop combines the elements of Thai massage with supported Restorative Yoga to make you feel absolutely amazing! Resting in a cozy warm (infrared) candlelit environment, the use of therapeutic touch (thai massage), soothing scents (aromatherapy), and calming musical sounds, will help you to relax deeply and assist you on a blissful journey inward.
What clients are saying:

"My first time experience with Restorative Thai Yoga was awesome! The class was structured in a way that involved a synthesis of: candle light, scents at different intervals, healing music, Lisa giving directions with a very soft voice, at times feeling the instructors gentle touch or adjustment, blankets and props to make postures comfortable and relaxing and, last but not least, the soothing infrared heat! Right from the beginning I felt totally relaxed and surprisingly my mind was still. Then I gradually felt the healing effects of the practice penetrating my body and soul. By the end of the class I was in a state of bliss. Restorative Thai Yoga was an amazing healing experience that lingered for days after it was over. I would love to repeat it frequently." ~ Catherine

I benefited from the time afforded to allow me to release into a posture. With Lisa's detailed guidance I was better able to focus my awareness and let go deeper into my tension. I only wish I could have a private session because getting massaged while breathing into these areas feels so good and releasing I want it for entire session without having to share! ~ Nina Choi

Partner Yoga is 2 or more people joining together to deepen the impact and experience of a yoga practice.  The primary component to working with a partner is touch.  Touch, in this way, can bring us closer to our partner.  Our partner can be anyone - from spouse to a lover, to a family member or a friend.  As humans we build our lives with relationship; without relationship there is no existence.  Practising Partner Yoga is a great way to build and strengthen our relationship with others.  Through the use of tractions, leverage and the kinesthetic awareness that comes from touch, we begin to open ourselves to greater depths in our bodie and minds.  When approached with a sense of humor, creativity and adventure, Partner Yoga is playful and fun!
About Alex & Natalie:
Alex and Natalie began their journey with yoga several years ago
and instantly bonded over their love of yoga and fun.  Searching for a new way to express their mutual passions they discovered Partner Yoga and found that it deepened their friendship and connection.
Coming from different paths of yoga, they developed techniques and
bonded styles to make this Partner Yoga workshop.  As teachers they wish to share their passion for yoga and the belief in its ability to effect positive changes in people's lives.
